This is simply our most sought after tour, incorporating three of the most popular natural attractions on the Coromandel Peninsula. Enjoy the spectacular Cathedral Cove, the unique thermal mineral pools at Hot Water Beach and the delights of Te-Wanganui-A Hei Marine Reserve.
Departing from Coromandel Town to Coromandel’s most famous natural attractions Cathedral Cove & Hot Water Beach. Departure times are arranged around the low tide at Hot Water Beach so the self-dug thermal spas can be enjoyed to the fullest. Our schedule on this tour is very flexible so you can experience the joys of the area according to your own preferences.
The track climbs gradually through native forest with beautiful glimpses of the coastline on the way to the lookout. From here the tree canopy opens to the coastal clifftops and spellbindng views to great Barrier Island. The final stage is a picturesque downhill stroll through coastal farmland to Fletcher Bay where everyone enjoys the refreshments at the end of their walk!
An afternoon journey with sensational evening light and very often a stunning sunset to finish. This tour starts well and gets better with every turn in the road, travelling along a majestic granite coast, clad in Pohutukawa, to the very tip of the Peninsula with views to Great Barrier.

Enjoy an adventure cycling on the Hauraki Rail Trail which includes the relaxed pace of the ride through the lush countryside of the Hauraki Plains towards Paeroa, or the Karangahake Gorge, rich in pioneering history with some of the best scenery of the region. This cycle trail is graded “easy” and with a variety of cafes along the way, plus cycle hire and shuttle transfers taken care of this has the promise of a totally enjoyable day.
Depart Coromandel Town and wind down the Pohutukawa fringed coastline as we head towards Thames and the start of the Hauraki Rail Trail. Our passionate local guides will get you safely down the narrow picturesque coast road to Hauraki Rail Trail office or the start of the trail if you have your own bike.

Make you way through the naturally regenerating rainforest, along the well-formed track with foot bridges and boardwalks which take you right into the heart of this spectacular grove – a personal encounter which will leave you rejuvenated.
Enjoy the superb views with a scenic drive over the mountain range, enjoying the magnificent vistas of Coromandel’s Eastern coastline. Entering the gates of The Lost Spring will transport you into a luxury wonderland. Then lie back and enjoy a one hour soak in thermal mineral waters, surrounded by a luscious sub-tropical paradise before returning to Coromandel in time to board the ferry back to Auckland.
With running waterfalls from pool to pool you can settle back and listen to the sounds of nature entwined with soothing Pacifica music.
