Normally this loop will take you along and across both the Rees and Dart rivers. There are some great secluded riding areas and you are on horses that want to go, these are the V8’s of our herd.
We have a herd specifically for this ride, mostly thoroughbred who need an experienced hand. So in addition to being an experienced rider able to hold a sustained trot and canter you also need to be experienced on thoroughbred horses with their ‘hotter’ temperament. Those not experienced enough are advised to join The River Wild which covers similar terrain.
N.B. Suitable for all levels of rider – Please note for safety reasons it is 1 rider per horse.
For the health and wellbeing of our horses and client safety we have a strict rider weight limit of 95kg/210lbs/15st. Please note this and provide accurate weights when booking. We reserve the right to weigh all customers on the day of the ride and if they exceed the rider weight limit, they will not be permitted to ride and a full charge will apply and no refunds will be provided.
