Join our 4pm Afternoon Sundowner Sailing tour for a fantastic way to conclude the day. You’ll get to enjoy this unique tall ship voyage across the inner Bay of Islands. We do planned trips on Fridays, Sundays, and Wednesdays and will accommodate parties of 25 or more on other days.

This short sundowner sail aboard the tall ship R.Tucker Thompson is ideal for those who lack the time for a full day in the Bay but still want to experience a unique tall ship experience. The voyage, which departs from Russell wharf at 4.00pm, is a leisurely sail along the inner bay, passing past the areas of Paihia and Waitangi.

Safety comes first. If conditions are unsuitable, you’ll be notified about alternatives such as rescheduling or a refund in line with the operator’s policy.

Departures are from Russell Wharf. If you’re staying in Paihia, take the passenger ferry to Russell before your check-in time.
