Begin your journey at 148 Quay St, opposite Queens Wharf, with a 2 pm pickup. Cross the iconic Harbour Bridge en route to Lake Pupuke, a colossal volcanic explosion crater.
We next, venture to O’Neil’s Bay for a brief walk, where you’ll witness the mesmerizing impact of Lake Pupuke’s lava flows on an ancient forest, creating unique tree moulds. For those seeking more adventure, there’s a 15-minute walk option along the stunning Takapuna Beach.
Proceeding to North Head volcano, you’ll embark on a 30-minute exploration of 19th-century tunnels designed to serve immense gun emplacements. Circling the volcano, reaching the summit for breathtaking vistas of Rangitoto Island and the harbour.
Continuing, we drive to Mt Victoria volcano, offering a unique perspective of Auckland City from the opposite side of the harbour.
