Covering an entire 45 kilometres, you get to experience the fantastic diversity of Queenstown’s waterways, take glimpses of local life from the lakeshore’s homes, and see stunning views all along the way, including river gardens and great views of the Remarkables Mountain Range.
In shallow waters, the Jet boat responds to what it was designed for, travelling at speeds up to 95 km’s/ph, often in water less than 5cm deep! Your experienced driver will skillfully negotiate the narrow braids and tight turns of the river while making plenty of time for the exhilarating 360 spins that Jet boats are renowned for.

Every hour on the hour from 9am to 6pm, step off Queenstown’s Main Town Pier and onto a big yellow KJet boat for your unforgettable Jet boating experience. Leave down town Queenstown in your wake as you power into the channels of two of New Zealand’s most scenic waterways, The Kawarau & Shotover rivers! Skimming over the pure waters of Lake Wakatipu taking in stunning views of the Remarkables Mountain range, we follow the beautiful willow lined Kawarau River, before pursuing the shallower waters and fast moving braids of the famous Shotover River.
Your Big Yellow will race up the shallow channels at speeds of up to 95 km’s/ph and along the way we’ll take you for plenty of 360° spins, all the while skimming across water that’s less than 5 cm deep in places.
Finally, you return to the Pier where you can view and purchase photos and videos from your trip.

During your half day wine tour, you’ll experience quality Central Otago wine and food. The delicious lunch consists of several tasting dishes each perfectly matched by the Chief Winemaker and Head Chef, using estate wines and fresh local produce.
You’ll enjoy wine tasting and presentations at 3 wineries, including one larger well-known winery and two boutique wineries. This tour includes a visit to New Zealand’s largest underground wine cave. Here you’ll receive insights into the Central Otago wine industry whilst savouring premium wine.
