Fox Glacier skydiving offers adrenaline-pumping adventure and excitement! Jump out of an airplane on a tandem skydive in Fox Glacier and experience freefall in a safe, yet fun-filled environment. Experienced skydivers can choose to jump by themselves.

Skydive from 9,000 ft, 13,000 ft or 16,500 ft above the West Coast glaciers with Skydive Fox Glacier. Surrounded by rainforests, glaciers, Mount Cook & Mount Tasman and the Tasman Sea, Fox Glacier is one of the most beautiful places in the world for skydiving and voted ‘2nd most scenic skydive in the world.’

Your skydive experience starts with a safety briefing and gear-up, before boarding our aircraft with a professional tandem master who will escort you on the adventure of a lifetime. We take a leisurely flight to altitude that takes us around the Westland National Park, over subtropical rainforests, rivers, lakes, the Tasman sea, New Zealand’s highest mountains – Mt Tasman and Aoraki/Mt Cook – and of course the largest glaciers and snow fields in the Southern Alps. No other Skydive Company in New Zealand can offer these views, winter or summer. It is a sight of such grandeur that it must be seen to be believed.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

Wear reasonably warm clothing and sand shoes or sturdy shoes. We will provide jumpsuits, gloves, goggles (glasses or contact lenses are not a problem) and helmets.

During summer we plan jumps at 8:00 am & 11:00 am in the morning and 2:00 pm & 4:00pm in the afternoon, but we can accommodate other timings.

We can accommodate up to 120 kgs depending on physical condition, talk to us if you exceed 100 kg. Please let us know if you have any medical conditions, most will not stop you skydiving, but your safety is our primary concern and we can advise you if you have any concerns. BTW we do not charge any extra for those over 100 kg.

The most popular height is 16,500ft above ground level, 4000? above Aoraki / Mt Cook with views of the East & West Coasts, including Lake Tekapo and Lake Pukaki . From 16500? you will have 70 seconds of freefall at 200 kph (120 mph). Oxygen is provided on all 16500? skydives.

If you are not quite up for the higher altitude, the 13000? skydive is an option, you will exit the aircraft level with the top of Aoraki/Mt. Cook, with spectacular views of the glaciers, rainforests and the West Coast,  and have 50 seconds of freefall.

Skydiving is weather dependant and we are concerned with your safety. Changes to booking date/time or cancellations can be made, with at least 24 hour notice, without any charge. Cancellations made, by you with less than 24 hour notice will incur a 20% fee. If Skydive Fox Glacier cancelled the jump due to weather conditions, you will receive a 100% refund.
