This tour will take you to three of Waiheke’s finest wineries, where you will sample various wines. Along the way, enjoy a picturesque drive while your expert local guide explains the Island’s history, geography, people, and culture.
After your wine-tasting trip, unwind with lunch and a drink of Waiheke wine or beer at “Three Seven Two” (awarded one Hat in the most recent Cuisine Good Food Awards) on the beaches of Onetangi before returning to the ferry or your lodging.
(Monday through Thursday, lunch will be served at Stonyridge Vineyard during the winter months.)

This afternoon tour is a fantastic alternative if you are looking for a slow-paced day with a small group.
Discover some of Waiheke’s “off the beaten path” vineyards in the rough and stunning landscape of the island’s easternmost tip.
The tour features tastings at three boutique wineries, a microbrewery, and a delicious picnic lunch.
If you want to extend your stay on the island, we can organise a dinner reservation at a restaurant of your choice or drop you off in Oneroa Village so you can spend the evening at your leisure.

Ananda Tours will meet you on the Waiheke wharf upon departure from Auckland Downtown.
The journey will begin with a picturesque drive along the northern route, offering breathtaking views of the Hauraki Gulf and the Coromandel Peninsula. The first visit is to a nearby vineyard for a tasting and informal lunch.
If time permits, after lunch, proceed to Onetangi, a 1.87-kilometre-long, north-facing beach with magnificent old Pohutukawa trees. It has been the site of the Onetangi Beach Races for many years.

A lovely vineyard overlooking the Hauraki Gulf serves as the final stop. Enjoy a wine tasting while taking in the scenery.
If you wish, you can stay on for dinner (at your own expense) and make your way back to the ferry when you are ready, or the guide will return you to the Waiheke Wharf in time to catch the 6 pm ferry back to Auckland.

Enjoy delicious fresh oysters and other locally produced delicacies alongside wines from some of the Island’s finest boutique wineries. Along the route, your guide will provide informative and entertaining commentary.
You will visit three wineries, each offering an assortment of gourmet foods to go with their wines. Oysters from Te Matuku Bay, wild honey, in-house meal combinations, and artisan cheeses may be available as delicacies.
After the tour, dine on a platter at one of our finest vineyard restaurants. After lunch, you will be dropped back at your hotel or the ferry to return to Auckland.
Due to seasonal availability, Te Matuku oysters may not be available, but other gourmet treats will be available.

This unique tour will take you to three of Waiheke’s finest winemakers, where you may indulge your taste for excellent wine. Sample a variety of excellent wines while learning about them from the winemaker. Depending on the weather, you may also explore the vineyard.
You will be guided by one of our experts, who has finished the Bob Campbell Wine Diploma programme and is an avid wine fan.
Choose from Cable Bay, Mudbrick, Obsidian, Stonyridge, Kennedy Point, and Jurassic Ridge, then enjoy a delectable lunch at any charming vineyard eateries (lunch is not included in the tour price).
If you are interested in purchasing their wine, we may also arrange visits to other vineyards, such as Destiny Bay, that are not ordinarily open to the public.
