What better way than to experience one of the best thermal areas left in New Zealand – ‘Orakei Korako’.
We take off from the waters at Taupo Bay, tracking past ‘Craters of the Moon’ before landing on the Waikato River where you disembark on the floating jetty for your journey into the Hidden Valley, a world of gushing geysers, hot springs and bubbling mud pools.
The return flight passes over the impressive Huka Falls and over the township of Taupo before landing on the waterfront.
Allow 2 hours and 15 minutes which includes passes to the Orakei Korako Thermal Valley.
