This is your opportunity to explore Christchurch and the world-renowned Waipara wine valley, one of New Zealand’s most active and fascinating wine-growing regions, in a small group setting. You’ll be picked up in a luxury minivan and taken on a tour of the city’s highlights. Though it was severely damaged in earthquakes earlier in the decade, the rebuilding process is an optimistic sign of what is to come. To the north of the city are a variety of boutique wineries, all of which are easily accessible. The region produces a wide variety of grape varieties, but particularly fragrant whites and Pinot Noir.
Canterbury Trails guides have been hand-picked for their local knowledge, passion, and ability to tell a good tale, in addition to their exceptional driving abilities.
Our guides take pleasure in their personal touch and are always willing to accommodate your requests and wants; they can also recommend some wonderful photo opportunities, so don’t be hesitant to ask. Canterbury Trails aspires to do more than simply pick up and drop off…we want to make the in-between a memorable adventure. We provide full-day and half-day trips for people on a tight schedule.
