Milford Day Walks – Milford Track Guided Walk
Price: $149 per person – Child $89 pp
Departs: 6:30 am Te Anau
Duration: 5 Hours
Tour Includes accommodation pick-up and drop-off in Te Anau and return transportation through the picturesque Milford Highway to Milford Sound. Travel by mini coach to Milford Sound, where our guided walk will begin. Beginning with a short boat journey to Sandfly Point, the Milford Track can then be accessed.
On a well-maintained path, enjoy an easy 5.5 kilometers (11 kilometer return) stroll along the cascading Arthur River and dark Lake Ada. From the majestic canopy trees towering above to the emerald-green ferns below and the singing that resonates through the woods, it is best to explore this World Heritage Site on foot. Our final destination is the magnificent Giant Gate This magnificent waterfall is best observed from the river’s wide swinging bridge.
We retrace our steps at a slow pace, taking the time to appreciate this magnificent woodland. The intimate ratio of 12 hikers to 1 Trips & Tramps guide provides a wonderful opportunity to learn about the trail’s interesting human history. At the sign indicating the conclusion of the trail, there is an option to take photographs upon completion of the walk. The walkers rejoin the boat for the return trip to Milford.
After completing the hike, stop for lunch in Milford Sound before returning to Te Anau.
Fiordland Walks – Milford Coach, Cruise & Walk

From Te Anau travel along the spectacular Milford Road with local, experienced nature guides/drivers, eager to share their stories, knowledge and passion for the area, bringing the mysteries of Fiordland to life.
At Milford Sound join a scheduled extended, nature style boat cruise of Milford Sound to 
the Tasman Sea. The cruise provides excellent indoor and outdoor viewing opportunities of the waterfalls, rainforest, mountains and wildlife.
Discover more with our overland tour, the local guide will share a series of walks in a range of different environments, providing interpretation of the unique native flora and fauna. Our National Park concession allows us to access Gertrude Valley, Lake Gunn, Marian Gantry, and Humboldt Falls, alongside highlights and to avoid any crowds. This ensures clients get to enjoy the best wilderness and wildlife opportunities available in this incredible, World Heritage Area. For passengers wanting a longer hike option, a 2.5-hour unguided walk to Key Summit on the renowned Routeburn Track is offered on our summer time table from October to April. Morning guided walk on the Milford Track
Your guided walk starts at Deepwater Basin, Milford Sound, beginning with a short boat ride to Sandfly Point.
Enjoy an easy 5.5 km (11 km return) walk alongside the cascading Arthur River and moody Lake Ada, on a well-maintained track. From the ancient canopy trees towering above to the emerald-green ferns below and the birdsong that echoes through the trees, it is a unique World Heritage Area best explored by foot. Our destination is the impressive Giant Gate This spectacular waterfall is best viewed from the large swing bridge spanning the river.
We then return at a leisurely pace, taking the time to enjoy this incredible forest. The small group of 12 walkers to 1 Trips & Tramps guide provides an excellent opportunity to learn about the fascinating human heritage of the track. On completion of the walk an opportunity is made for photos at the sign marking the end the track. Walkers then re-join the boat for the transfer back to Milford.
Afternoon boat cruise
Enjoy Milford Sound’s awe-inspiring scenery from the comfort of a Real Journey’s Scenic Boat Cruise.
With purpose-built observation lounges and large decks, you can be sure you will get some great viewing opportunities. You’ll see the geological drama of sheer cliffs, massive waterfalls, glaciers and rainforest. Keep a look out for wildlife like seals basking on the rocks or dolphins. During the cruise, friendly crew provide commentaries and point out the sights such as Mitre Peak and the Pembroke Glacier.
Fiordland Walks – Routeburn Track Guided Walk from Te Anau
Price: $210 per person – Child $180 pp

Duration: 9 Hours
Join Trips & Tramps from Te Anau, and travel in a small group to Fiordland’s mountain divide by vehicle. Your 8km return Routeburn Track guided walk begins at the Divide Shelter, ascending through lush, temperate rain forest on a well-maintained track. The steady climb takes approximately 2 hours at a leisurely pace. A maximum of 12 walkers with a Trips & Tramps guide provides an excellent opportunity to learn about the natural and human heritage of Fiordland.
Gaining an elevation of 400 meters, emerge from the forest into the alpine environment, with panoramic views of high snowy peaks, alpine lakes, and deep bush clad valleys. On a fine day lunch is on the summit amidst the alpine tarns, and in unfavorable conditions in the shelter of a nearby tramping hut. After lunch steps are retraced to the Divide Shelter before returning to Te Anau.
Fiordland Walks – Milford Track Guided Walk & Boat Cruise

8:15 am Jet Boating & Fishing
Begin with a morning on the mighty Waiau River with Fish Jet. Try your hand at fishing for Rainbow or Brown trout and soak up the thrill of jet boating alongside Fiordland National

1.00 pm Scenic Helicopter Flight
Soar high above breathtaking lakes and mountains on a scenic helicopter flight, enjoying a special landing on a remote alpine location. After being dropped at Luxmore Hut, perched high on Mount Luxmore, a delicious picnic lunch ensues.
1.30 pm Hike the Famous Kepler Track
Lace up your walking shoes for an afternoon of hiking – this three hour guided nature walks follows a portion of the Kepler Track, a New Zealand Great Walk. Limestone bluffs, incredible views and lush forest sections make this walk truly unforgettable. Once you have make your way down to Brod Bay, journey back to Te Anau via water taxi.

Day 1. Routeburn Track Guided Walk
Enjoy a guided walk to Key Summit on the renowned Routeburn Track. This spectacular walk ascends through lush, temperate rainforest and onto a unique alpine herb field. On the summit, hikers experience panoramic views of mountains, alpine lakes, and deep, glacial carved bush clad valleys. Walking in a small group, the Trips & Tramps guide provides an excellent opportunity to learn about this stunning natural environment.

Day 2. Kepler Track Guided Heli-Hike
Experience a guided heli-hike on the Kepler Track. Begin with a spectacular flight by helicopter from Te Anau Township, over the hidden
lakes to arrive at Luxmore Hut on the Kepler Track. The walk begins in the alpine area then descends through magnificent beech forest. The effects of different altitude and weather conditions experienced in Fiordland are clear to see, as the trees and undergrowth quickly change, creating a varied backdrop. The approach to Lake Te Anau is evident as the track meanders through native New Zealand ferns. The
hike is finished at the sandy beach of Brod Bay, the pick-up point for the water taxi back to Te Anau town-ship.

Day 3. Milford Track 1/2 Day Guided Walk
Experience a guided walk to Giant Gate Waterfall onthe world famous Milford Track. Departing from Milford Sound begin with a short
boat ride to Sandfly Point. Then meander alongside the cascading Arthur River through lush rainforest to Giant Gate. An expansive swing bridge spanning the river provides perfect photo opportunities. A forest of ancient trees, vibrant ferns and mosses, and diverse birdlife – unequalled anywhere.
On conclusion of the walk complete the Milford Sound experience with an afternoon Scenic Boat Cruise 1 hour 40 minutes in length. With purpose-built observation lounges and large decks, clients will have excellent viewing opportunities including the geological drama of sheer cliffs, massive waterfalls, glaciers and rainforest.

Fiordland Walks – Lake Marian Guided Walk from Te Anau
Price: $260 per person – Child $220 pp

Experience an adventurous guided day walk from Te Anau hiking to Lake Marian amongst forest and alpine scenery.
Begin with a spectacular scenic drive along the Milford Road to the Lower Hollyford valley, the starting point for the guided walk to Lake Marian. The hike starts with a gentle walk alongside a series of waterfalls, then steepens and becomes rocky underfoot as we ascend through a lush forest of fuchsia, ribbon wood and beech trees. There is a maximum of 6 walkers with a Trips & Tramps guide providing an opportunity for clients to learn about the natural and human heritage of Fiordland. Stops for photographs, bird-watching and enjoying the scenery are made along the way. Hot drinks and energy snacks are carried by the guide, and a wilderness tea break is available as required. After walking for 2-3 hours,
we arrive at Lake Marian. This stunning alpine lake is situated in a hanging valley surrounded by steep, snow clad mountains. As weather permits enjoy a picnic lunch at this inspirational location and relax in this magnificent alpine amphitheater. Descend back down the track to the Hollyford
Road and then travel back to Te Anau by coach.
Kepler Track Luxmore Guided Day Heli-Hike from Te Anau
Price: $635 per person

Duration: 6 Hours
Enjoy a guided day walk from Te Anau beginning with a scenic helicopter flight over the Hidden Lakes, beech forest and alpine area to Luxmore Hut on the Kepler Track. From this Department of Conservation Hut explore the alpine tussock fields and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding Fiordland mountains with the possibility of ascending to the summit of Mt Luxmore. After time in the alpine area, hike down the mountain on the well-formed Kepler Track. The track descends through mountain and silver beech forest, and passes under towering limestone bluffs to the sandy beach of Brod Bay, the pick up point for the rewarding water taxi trip back to Te Anau.
From Luxmore Hut it is a down hill walk (8km) requiring a medium level of fitness. If you wish to explore further past theHut toward the Summit there would be an additional 1-3 hours walking up and down. There is a maximum of 12 walkerswith a Trips & Tramps guide providing an opportunity to learn about the natural and human heritage of Fiordland. There are plenty of stops for photographs, bird-watching and interpretation along the way.
