Queenstown Bike Shuttle Service

Going Blue provide a shuttle service from Queenstown to many surrounding popular destination locations such as the historic village of Arrowtown, shotover or bungy and the Gibbston Valley where you can find some of the best New Zealand wineries.

Drop off at the end of the day just requires a quick message to inform Going Blue where they can pick up the bikes and gear from, which you can simply lock up somewhere for your convenience.

If your legs decide to give up on you whilst out exploring, you can always get the shuttle back from anywhere in the region. This comes at a small fee, but can be added on at any time. To avoid any delays in your day, it’s a good idea to plan the route you may take, so staff can estimate your return time. More Info:

Arranging your Queenstown Bike Hire

Our team will arrange a time and a place to size up the bikes at your convenience, be it your hotel or Airbnb.

Then they will explain safety equipment, maps, bike mechanics and answer any questions you may have about your day. Our team has plenty of local knowledge to make your day run smoothly so don’t hesitate to ask about hotspots, scenery or where to get the best coffee! A staff member will always be on call during your ride in case of an unfortunate accident or repair.

Pick Ups
Just a simple text at the end of the day to let us know where we can pick up the bikes and we will collect all your gear at your convenience. Shuttle services from anywhere in our region are also possible at a small fee and can be added on at any time if the weather turns bad or fatigue kicks in.

We suggest giving our team an idea of your route so we can estimate return times to avoid delays. Alternatively, if you’re unable to keep in touch and have pre-arranged plans, we can agree on a location to leave the bikes with the locks provided. Simple!

How do I use an E-bike?
Like any bike, you can pick this beauty up and pedal away. The real magic comes when you awaken the Japanese Yamaha motor system, located elegantly over your left thumb.

One-click of the power button to start her up, another click for assisted pedal power matched at 75% of your power output, one more click to take it up a notch to match your actual leg power, with an additional four more modes to take it to super-man mode at 350%.

Hills will never feel the same again! This bike’s safety feature is that its motor tops out at 32km/h so that the kid in you doesn’t get too carried away. If you have a smartphone, you can download Giant’s handy free app to track maps, distances and power. Available on Apple and Android.
