Kahu Kayaks is a Kiwi kayak company headquartered in Marahau that has a wealth of experience leading guided kayaking tours in the Abel Tasman National Park.

All campsites and huts in the Abel Tasman National Park must be booked in advance through the Department of Conservation (DOC) website. You need to plan your trip / itinerary in advance and select which campsites you wish to stay at while you are in the park, and book them accordingly. (Important to note that the northern kayak limit is Shag Harbour, so you can’t camp any further north than Onetahuti unless you’re walking)
