Abel Tasman Sailing Adventures also provide for couples and small groups who want to escape for a few days exclusive sailing charters from two, three or four days creating your own tour and schedule that takes in the best of the Abel Tasman coastline relaxing in beautiful bays, seeing wildlife up close, Kayaking, short and full day walks and in the evening anchored in a sheltered bays over a wine with friends and awesome food – ideally catering from 2 to 8 sailing guests.

Treat yourself to the only scheduled Full Day sailing tour in New Zealand’s coastal paradise – the Abel Tasman National Park. Either chill out and relax, get involved in the sailing or learn as you go, you decide! Experience some great sailing, enjoy some stunning beaches and islands, with a full hour to enjoy your lunch and relax on Anchorage Beach. A great opportunity to go swimming or take a short walk and explore the caves.Visit the Fur Seal Colony, Split Apple Rock, and much more on your return to Kaiteriteri Beach – see all the highlights on this tour! including a packed picnic lunch, tea/coffee and juice all included.
Sail Schedule:– Departing Kaiteriteri Beach at 10 am daily
– Arriving to Anchorage Beach around 12:30pm
– Departing Anchorage Beach at 1:30pm
– Returning to Kaiteriteri Beach by 4.30pm.
Check in time 9:30am, at Abel Tasman Sailing Adventures ticket booth, on Kaiteriteri Beach.

BOOK HERE: Price: $203 per person – Child $125 ppMorning Sail & Cruise: Depart Kaiteriteri Base at 10am. Sail to Anchorage arriving 12.30pm. Choose a water taxi return time of 1.00, 1.35, 2.30 or 3.45 pm. Cruise back to Kaiteriteri (allow 30 minutes for this water taxi journey).
Afternoon Sail & Cruise: Depart Kaiteriteri by water taxi at 9.00 am, 10.30 am, 12.00 or 12.40 pm. At Anchorage meet your sailing catamaran for the 1.30 pm afternoon sail, arriving at Kaiteriteri at 4.30 pm
Combine scenic sailing with an exciting water taxi ride. If you’re short on time, but want a great Abel Tasman experience, sail one way and catch a water taxi the other. With some taxi times, you can either extend your time on the beach or go for a longer walk, and get more into that relaxing cruise mode.

Start your day at sailing from Kaiteriteri beach, along the coastline, passing Split Apple Rock. Take in the golden beaches and bays, islands and birdsong before arriving at Anchorage. Around midday, abandon ship at Anchorage for a stunning nature walk back to Marahau. Stroll along sandy beaches via picture-perfect lookouts and through native bush and the beautiful scenery the coastal track has to offer.
This is a 3-4 hour freedom walk. Transfers between Kaiteriteri and Marahau to be pre-arranged upon booking. Duration : 7 Hours (approx.)
Abel Tasman Sea Kayak, Stroll, Seals & Sail
Price: Adult $240 per person (Minimum age 12)

Departs: 1:30 pm
Starting at 8:30am, navigate your sea kayak past islands, sea caves and golden beaches on your paddle between Marahau and Watering Cove. Stretch your legs and get the blood pumping with a 30minute walk over to Anchorage while taking in the amazing views. Don’t forget your camera! Join the catamaran at Anchorage by 1:30pm and check out the Fur Seal colony at Pinnacle Island before an exhilarating sail back down the coast via Split Apple Rock.
It is important to note that check in for the Kayak portion of this trip is at 8:30am. Your sailng departure is then scheduled for 1:30pm from Anchorage Beach.

Here is a sample itinerary to get you started:
Day 1
Depart Kaiteriteri, cruise past Split Apple Rock, Adele & Fisherman Islands.
Lunch onboard in a quiet bay.
Walk Torrent Bay to Bark Bay.
View the antics of NZ fur seals.
Overnight at Bark Bay or sail to Anchorage Bay and stay onboard.
Day 2
Sail to Tonga Island.
Kayak or dinghy into Shag Harbour.
Cruise the coastline viewing Cathedral Rocks, stopping to explore beaches and bays.
Listen to the Adele Island birdsong.
