Lake Wanaka is one of New Zealand’s biggest lakes, nestled in a glacier-carved valley and flanked by the Southern Alps’ beautiful snow-capped peaks. This makes it the ideal place for an amazing kayaking adventure, which Paddle Wanaka offers on the sparkling waters of Lake Wanaka and the Clutha River. Additionally, we offer beach rentals and self-guided lake trips.
Depending on the tour you choose, your guide will take you on an exploration of Lake Wanaka, revealing hidden jewels such as Mou Waho Island (predator-free), where you may take a short walk to explore a lake on an island in a lake. Additionally, you may have a delicious lunch on the beach here.
