Or take a Punt ride from Worcester Street Bridge through Christchurch’s central city and see the ongoing changes of our city.

Tours depart from the historic Antigua Boat Shed landing An ideal group or family activity, Punting on the Avon is an eco-friendly way to relax and enjoy Christchurch from a different perspective. From our Park departure point travel leisurely from the historic Antigua Boat sheds, through the Botanic Gardens, and enjoy the spectacular flora that our ‘Garden City’ is famous for. Alternatively, our City departure point takes you through the heart of our city

Each Punting tour is approximately 30 minutes with informative commentary and you are returned back to the point of departure. For your comfort, we also provide blankets and umbrellas and during winter cozy hot water bottles from the Park Landing Site. The private tours are approx 45 minutes and require a minimum of two paying passengers

Children aged 5-15 years, infants aged under 5 years. Family tickets are valid for two adults and up to three children. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Minimum of 2 passengers for a Private Tour booking.

The City Tour by Christchurch Tram is the perfect way to experience the changing face of Christchurch City. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes and includes seventeen stops, allowing you to visit inner city attractions such as New Regent Street, Cathedral Junction, Art Gallery, Arts Centre, Canterbury Museum and Botanical Gardens. Tram drivers provide a live and comprehensive commentary. A ticket lasts all day and customers can get off and on as they please.
Take a ride on the Christchurch Gondola and enjoy spectacular 360 degree views across the Plains, Alps, Christchurch City and Harbour. Experience the Time Tunnel, the “Shop at the Top” or the Red Rock Café. Use the Gondola to access the many walking or biking tracks available.
