What are the age and height requirements for children?

Children must be at least 1 metre tall to ride. There’s no upper age limit, but all passengers must fit securely in their seat. Children under 5 years usually ride free when accompanied by an adult.

Where do I check in and how early should I arrive?

What should I wear and bring on the jet boat?

Dress for the weather and wear warm layers in cooler months. A waterproof jacket is provided, but sunglasses and secure shoes are recommended. Cameras and phones should be left behind.

Is the ride suitable for people with back or neck concerns?

Due to the high-speed turns and occasional bumps, the ride isn’t suitable for pregnant guests or those with recent back, neck, or heart issues. Please check with staff if unsure.

What happens in bad weather or high river conditions?

The Shotover Jet operates in most conditions. In rare cases of unsafe river levels or extreme weather, trips may be rescheduled or fully refunded.
